I loved my stay. I booked this particular hotel because Expedia said that all rooms were sound-proofed. What a blessing. I could completely unwind and be in my bubble. I also got a room with a view and was able to watch the sun set behind the Parliament buildings. It was a healing experience, just what I hoped for.

We were not informed of construction on the floor you access the pool. We refused to go outside and renter another hotel to access the pool.the hallway on our floor stunk like cigarettes. The room we got looked nothing like the room I thought I booked. Loved the security of the building but when you struggle with 2 hot coffee and trying to get your key out to access the elevator to your floor very inconvenient. Likely wouldn't book again rather pricey for what you actually get.ohhh and no instructions at all on how to use the damn nescaf coffee maker.. that would have saved us the $10 for two mediocre coffee in the lobby ..

I had an incident with the parking garage. I was told by front desk to drive down to level 3 for Double Tree parking, not warned about high restriction, i damaged my vehicle! I was told it wasn’t their responsibility. I find that ridiculous. Why send people when there’s height restrictions!

Several critical issues. First, extrodinarily long wait to check in. Waited in lune for 20 minutes. There should be mors than 1 staff for the afternoon rush. The property is in disrepair. Dirty carpets in the room and hallways. There is heavy, heavy, heavy construction happening across the street that starts at 7am. Most importantly, there are addicts, drunks, and emotionally disturbed people all.arpund the entrance of the hotel. With no security, I was harrassed within several feet of the front door. This happened twice. When i brought this up to the concierge on dury, his response was a frown and.shrug.
