Excellent hotel. It is the best resort we have ever visited. The only downside was that the communication between the contact person or concierge and the restaurant was not good enough. We had to confirm 5 times regarding one easy thing, and the restaurant still did not receive what we ordered. However, we would still want to come back soon.

Deferred maintenance. Pool lights wiring very visible in the pool. Villas seemed dated and deferred maintenance. Bike paths were narrow and dangerous to share with speeding golf carts with staff members. And unknown hidden tax per person per room for eco tax.

The staff and concierges were super helpful with anything we needed throughout the trip! The resort allowed for a lot of privacy in our villa and allowed us to truly relax. They even spoiled us with an upgrade to help us celebrate our 20th anniversary and baby moon! Only thing I would add is a good coffee shop!

Excellent service, amenities and variety

First class service throughout Amazing property to cycle around and experience the different areas. Sands superb. If it had a nice coffee shop it would be another level.

We loved banyan tree! The villas are so nice and private. The staff goes above and beyond! Loved eating at saffron on our last night but all the food was amazing!

Mission accomplished! We showed up weary from a busy year and came home refreshed. Upon arrival we were welcomed with fresh guacamole that continued with outstanding hospitality and genuine joy serving the guests each day, great food options, beautiful rainforest spa experience and ended with the ease at checkout! Sonia, Abi, Gama and the entire crew SIX STARS!!! WELL DONE

The location on the waterways is great! Fight to get towels everyday They take dirty out but leave you none!!
