Linens need updated, they charge for Wifi, cleaning details overlooked (used bar of soap left in the shower, stains on sheets) The location worked for our plans but I wouldn’t book again. It has a neat history and lots of potential but needs some more care to be worth the money to stay.

Unfortunately some of the streets around the hotel feel unsafe and smell urine. We wanted to visit the Chinatown area but turned back. Location is great for the Saturday market and Voodoo donuts.

The pool was out of order the entire stay and they had to shut the hotel’s power off for two hours overnight. The area can get a little dicey at night but such is the nature of downtown Portland…

I love this hotel. It’s in a prime location for dining and bar crawling. Lots of homeless because it’s downtown Portland, human feces on the floor about half a block from the front door.

The hotel is beautiful, the location was very good( the only thing was the parking that was extra for valet) We love the breakfast, the only thing was the bed that was small and not so comfortable
