We had a wonderful family vacation. The staff was amazing and we had a great time. We loved that although there were tons of people staying, it never felt like anywhere was crowded.

This is the newest resort on a (3) resort compound. Because it's the newer one it is more modern. It's a jungle type felling with 2 gorgeous pools and huge jacuzzi. However, you do have to walk across the street to access the other (2) resorts. It is very safe & they do have golf carts to take you but very unlikely you will catch a ride. They are always busy doing errands. Either way it's a short 3 minute walk. The good thing is that you get 3 resorts for the price of 1. And ALL 3 are wonderful. With actual good food in their buffets & restaurants.

Great resort with a huge variety of amenities. Pros: Love the fact that this is 3 resorts in 1; you stay at one resort, but can access the pools, restaurants and all other services at the other resorts. Loved the variety of restaurants, especially Mercado de Dolores. The food was really good. Lots of chairs and places to hang out by the poil, so need to "save a chair" early in the early morning as is done at other resorts. Good variety of quiet, calm spaces as well as "party" spaces. Lots of activities and entertainment to do throughout the do (Spanish lessons, dance lessons, Zumba, Crazy Hour, stretching, nightly bands, performers, different themes, etc. The grounds are beautiful! There is no "bad" view as the resort is inside a mangrove, the natural beauty of the trees, flowers and animals are everywhere. It is so cool to see the natural flora and fauna including lizards, coati, racoons, birds, etc. Cons: The room was ok. Somewhat spacious, but SO dark. I had to use my phone's flashlight to find my clothes sometimes! It didn't help that we were on the first floor which made it worst because of the surrounding shade from the trees. For the last few days of our trip, the sink taps would make a loud rumbling sound at 7:00am and the water would automatically turn on! When I told the front desk, maintenance did arrive immediately, and I was told they were doing work on the plumbing at that time (I think that's what he said in Spanish??) but the issue kept happening! Amazing staff, always kind and friendly. Easy restaurants options for breakfast and lunch, for dinner we recommend book with two or three days in advance to not be overbooked. All inclusive is the best option for everyone, you can go anywhere polls, lobbies and ask for any drinks. The only thing that can be better is the wifi, only two access for family.

Our stay at Ventus Ha was excellent. Everything was clean, the grounds were beautiful, and the resort was very well staffed. Evening meals were very good, but getting reservations was difficult especially the first couple of days. Highlights were the French restaurant and the rooftop bar. The beach and evening entertainment were just ok. We would recommend it and would come again.

Normally I'm hard to please but this resort was very good. I always judge the cleanliness of these equitorial resorts by the balcony. It's my first stop when I get to the room. If the balcony is clean, we're off to a good start. Ventus Ha, the premium family room was spotless outside and in. Beds were amazing. Pillows were great. Staff was friendly. Amenities were very good. Whole resort was very clean. The food was hit and miss. Of all the meals, restaurants and buffets, our daily fave was lunch at Hacienda Aricife (I probably misspelled that but if you're there, you'll know what I mean). Surprisingly the golf carts were all around to take guests anywhere but they are gas powered, noisy and smelly. We could hear them driving all night outside passing our building. The 4 platinum clubs were hit and miss as well with broken coffee machines at 2 and empty/not restocked international drinks for cocktails. Ours ran out of Bailey's on our second day and never had khalua. Another one had a sea of khalua and yet another was stocked with Bailey's all the time. If I wanted a B52, it would be like a poker boat-run. Food in the platinum lounges was also not frequently stocked and very limited in quantity and selection. Presentation was always nice though. Be pool people to enjoy this resort. The pools are all unique in character and clean but the beach was awful. Lastly, there was some construction on the roof (6th floor) superloud in our 3rd floor room ALL WEEK and limiting the Ruf bar

Great integration with nature: we saw most of the wildlife, including an alligator and a friendly raccoon. The restaurants were great for dinner and lunch. The staff is super friendly. But, going there for a long weekend means no chance of getting any restaurant for dinner and the alternative, the buffet, was with very limited choices, mediocre food, and crowded.

No Beach – Misleading Photos! Limited Entertainment – Not Kid-Friendly Inconsistent Service & Restaurant Struggles Mediocre Food & Drinks Facilities: Some New, Some Outdated Final Thoughts – Hotel Classification Needs to Be Re-Evaluated This resort is not what it claims to be. The misleading marketing about the beach alone should be enough to reconsider its star rating. If you're looking for a real beachfront vacation, this is NOT the place for you. If you simply want to relax by the pool, this might work—but do not bring kids, and be prepared to leave the hotel for activities. We will not be returning.
