Clean, decently sized and furnished and with cable TV for those lazy/rainy days. Fantastic location, not at all far from the city proper and a stone’s throw from the local supermarket, which was very handy. From the moment we checked in, Maddie, Ikhwan and all of the other staff members made us feel welcome and comfortable, going above and beyond in providing a happy experience for my husband and I, and our baby. We asked for an infant cot and they came back with a cot, a high chair and a tub which made things so much easier for us all during our stay. It was always nice bumping into them as they went about their work in the rooms, or at reception where our baby would get some cuddles while we could have a chat about activities to do or places to eat. Can not recommend this establishment enough! If we were to visit Queenstown again, we’d look forward to seeing the same friendly faces again at the Whistler.

The property was in a good location, approx. 500m from the ski bus station. The rooms included pretty much all mod cons including under floor heating and heated towel rails in the bathroom. The only problems were the short hours in reception (8am-6pm) and the bedding. We had 2 rooms with 2 guys sharing each room. We had requested twin beds but there was only a queen sized bed made, the sofa bed wasn't made and no bedding provided. Reception was closed when we arrived so we spoke to them the next morning, they handed us some sheets in reception.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear that the sofa bed sheets were not in the room when you checked in late. Management do live on site and their numbers are accessible on the door so they would have been happy to come down and provide you with bedding if you had called. We do not make the sofa bed up unless requested as it takes up living space in the lounge area. In terms of the room set up, as your review is anonymous I cannot see the room type that you booked however our queen size beds are not two singles pushed together so we cannot alter the layout. We are only able to make a king sized bed out of 2 singles depending on which room type you booked. Regardless of the above, we are really glad to hear that you found us located in a convenient spot and that all the rooms were well equipped with modern appliances. We really appreciate your review as it is invaluable in improving our customer experience so your feedback will be passed on to management/our wider team. We hope you had a great trip in Queenstown. It was so clise to town and the view of the gondola a paragliders was great. Had everything we needed. The fridge door however did not alwaya close effectively so was sonerines left open.

Central Queenstown Hotel

Very friendly check in girl. Good room and great view. Best TV channel availability of my trip. Good kitchen and bathroom with washing machine. Room was a bit of a trek up the steps.

Great View, Easy Walk to central Queenstown

Pros: The location.
Cons: I accidentally left something behind (expensive body oil) and it was thrown out. Would be good practice to keep things found in rooms for a week?
Location: Close to central Queenstown. Easy walk.
This place is clean and well located. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Modern, self contained apartment

Great spot. Close enough to walk comfortably and far enough away from hustle and bustle. Great apartment. Compact but good floor plan which makes it seem spacious. Everything you need, great oven, pots - even had salt and pepper. Only issue was being in a wheelchair accessible room meant no shower and as laundry and toilet are all in one. Was water everywhere. But honestly great property, very nice helpful staff. Definitely recommend. In fact have already done so on travels 😊
