Beach view and nice room.

Wonderful clean nice hotel with nice staff

My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here for one night for a quick getaway. We stayed on the bottom floor, ocean view room. Pros: Check-in staff were great and friendly Lobby was clean and bright and modern Room was clean - looks to have been remodeled recently Beds were wonderful and comfortable. View is incredible! You can’t get closer to the beach without actually being on the beach! Fireplace in room was great. Cons: Walls are very thin - upstairs neighbors were very noisy, moving furniture, and since the floors are wood you hear everything. Poor ventilation - refrigerator was sweating leaving water on the floor. Bathroom stayed damp all night and day despite running the fan constantly. Had to hang towels outside the bathroom to dry. No rugs or mat inside - it’s the beach and it’s sandy. Even brushing our shoes/feet outside there was still sand everywhere. A rug inside the door would be very helpful. Or even a small broom in the room to sweep up sand. Pool is in a different building. A cold walk there and back! There were no towels so had to walk wet to the front desk to get towels. No kids in hot tub area (which could be a pro for some but my kids were very disappointed) and the pool was not very warm! We did enjoy our stay here mostly due to the view and easy beach access. I would consider staying here again if we got a top floor room as I think that would alleviate some of the issues we had with dampness and noise! Overall I would say 3.5-4 stars.
