The hotel was beautiful and very close to the beach and other attractions which was a big plus however I will NOT be staying at this hotel again. The room cleaning staff were absolutely horrible. Everyday I had to go to the staff and ask multiple times throughout the day for someone to come and change the bed sheets and new wash towels. It was almost as if there was no one working there besides the person at the check-in desk. I don’t know if they were low on cleaning staff or what but it was definitely the biggest hassle of my stay at the hotel. I had to practically beg the person at the check-in table for someone to assist us during our stay everyday just to get simple things done for our room.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Unfortunately the property is not being taken care of. The hallways were unclean as were the elevators. The carpeting in my room was so dirty my feet were black from walking barefooted on it. The room rates have gone up since last year and the hotel is simply not worth over $200 per night. I will not be returning.

The view is great! However, the hotel is not well taken of...like there's no pride! Our room was not very clean, the floor was always slippery, the rug was dirty, the room smelled like mildew the entire time, and the staff were rude! I asked about a laundry room and was told it was on the 3rd floor....then I found out there is no place to do laundry in the hotel. The parking was very expensive. The ONLY person whom was very polite/friendly was the young man in the 2nd floor when we checked out (unfortunately, I did not take his name). All I can say about this hotel is DON'T DO IT...DON'T stay there!

For the price this is a good option. Spacious, clean rooms, located near Old San Juan. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our only complaint, like other reviewers, is the parking. They don’t really tell you how to get to the parking deck and it’s quite a walk if you’re dragging around luggage. I had to specially ask how to get to the hotel parking before the staff told me. PLEASE NOTE: the parking deck next to Costa Bahia IS NOT their parking deck. It belongs to another hotel and if you park there, you’ll have to pay for the parking. The parking entrance for Costa Bahia is named Paseo Caribe parking deck. The hotel will validate your parking for there. We will definitely opt for this hotel when we visit San Juan next time. If you only plan to sleep in the rooms, and don’t expect a lot of luxury, this is the place.

I decided to book this hotel because of the ocean view and affordability. However, while the ocean view was beautiful, the condition of the room was mediocre. The bathroom had a tub and a shower. The tub was leaking and the shower had mold, and did not offer hot water. The room was humid because the thermostat did not allow the temperature to go any lower than 72 degrees. The bed only had two pillows and a throw blanket, with no comforter or additional blanket. There was no room service during my 3-night stay. The parking situation was chaotic. The parking garage was about 1.5 miles away, making it inconvenient if you forgot anything in the car. The front desk provided a key card to access the parking garage, but it was unclear if the key card was activated. I got stuck in the exit lane trying to leave because the key card they provided me was inactive. There was no parking attendant, so I called the front desk for help. They said someone was coming, but after waiting for an hour, no one arrived. I eventually left my car and went back to the hotel, where the front desk claimed they couldn't leave and had lied about sending someone to help. After almost two hours and three different key cards, I was finally able to leave the parking lot. There was very limited staff and no one seemed to know much. You get what you pay for. You will need to Uber everywhere except for the beach, which is a 3-minute walk away.

It was a great place to stay the staff was friendly and they had security at main door I loved that it created a since of safety I would definitely stay there again the only thing I didn’t like is that I had a rental car and to park at the hotel I had to keep paying every time I left but other than that I would definitely recommend my friends and family

Great price, decent location, but so disappointed in the condition of this hotel. And the service. It was very moldy, rusted, and just kind of gross feeling. Our bedding consisted of just a bottom sheet and a top. No wash cloths. And room service did not come back the following days. I wouldn’t even put water in our fridge it was that gross. Staff was also very rude and unhelpful. They were also never at the desk.

I loved the ocean and city views. When I asked for a room refresh, they came right over. However, they did not come when I asked for towels. There was a dead waterbug in my first room and they tried to get me to stay in a room with a defective smoke detector. They did move me when I pressed and they were informative. Parking was a challenge and a waffle iron or a little bit of hot breakfast would've really elevated the experience.
