The room that I stayed in was not clean. One day there was actually a roach crawling up the wall. Thankfully, my bags were nowhere near that wall, but it was disconcerting. My room was only cleaned, once during my three night stay. The sliding glass door would not lock on the balcony thankfully I was on a high floor, but it made my sleep patterns erratic because I did not feel safe.

Check-in was at 3pm and they left me waiting for two hours because they didn't have a room available due to lack of staff. After my arrival, several more people arrived and everyone was given their room. The service was poor, they didn't offer me alternatives, they weren't friendly, they just couldn't do anything. The next day they didn't clean my room, I had to go down to the lobby to ask for towels and the answer was that they didn't have housekeeping. Very limited breakfast.

3rd time staying here but each time it seemed like a downgraded experience The carpet was filthy that my white socks turned black on the bottom. 4 day stay and they didn’t come clean the room once. The room smelled moldy I hope they make changes to improve how it used to be.

Ok, the building (hotel) is part of 3 that were part of a resort (Hilton Carib) at one time maybe.It appeared to have significant hurricane damage in the past and was sold off in pieces. No pool, in a very deserted shopping area, lobby was on the 2nd, armed night security. Stayed on 10th floor, old furniture, one of two elevators broke during our stay. Room was clean linen, towels, and soap etc good. On going remolding to bring building up to good quality. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a work in progress at this time it is a place to sleep and shower. There was an awesome Bodega (SP) behind the hotel that we loved outside chairs and tables where we sat with locals and had beer or two. This was not a resort but the price was fair for what you get.
Great place to wait for your room to be ready
Enjoyed $4 beers and meeting with locals whom were friendly and welcoming
Short walk out the lobby they offered nowhere to sit on their property.

It had an excellent view and room was very spacious. Staff were excellent. The room was very damp and humid. The AC worked well everywhere else in the hotel except our room. It was very warm so hard to sleep. That’s a deal breaker for me.
