The apartment was surprisingly spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped. Staff were welcoming and courteous and we were able to access the room early, which made a huge difference to us. Overall we really enjoyed the Meriton, and found the location really convenient, with easy access to Town Hall and Darling Harbour.

This hotel is in an excellent location which is a short walk between the shopping precinct and Darling Harbour. The apartment is a great size and well appointed. Parking was also easy and a great price.

The location is superb, near Darling Harbour plus the central city and not far from Circular Quay. Dinning options are immense due to location. My room was on the 2nd level and it was very quiet - basically 'no noise'. I loved that this accomodation had a spa, indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. It would have been nice to have the temperature of the spa higher. The service was excellent - I initially had an issue with noise from the aircon and that was fixed very promptly plus I got a follow up call to ensure all was good. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others :) Thanks to all the Meriton Sussex St staff that I had the pleasure of engaging with....you made my stay very enjoyable.

We stayed at the property because it was central and we were able to walk to many places - shops, show venues, restaurants, Darling harbour and the Markets. The property was excellent, front of house staff was very helpful, and our room was large very clean with a separate bedroom, bathroom and a fully equipped laundry. The bedroom and the lounge area was spacious. The cleaning staff were excellent. There was no view of the water from our room 2004 which disappointed us but that was an only a slight irritation for us. The staff were excellent when we asked them for anything. Highly recommend.

It was perfect for our 3 day weekend staycation. Heated pool and sauna were the best highlight of our stay. Location was very handy, everything was within walking distance. Absence of bathrobe and slippers was noticeable though we were ok without them when going to the pool and things. The bed was very comfy and our room was nice and quiet despite it was close to the lifts. the kitchen's well equipped and would be suitable for guests staying for a longer period of time. And the washing machine and the dryer would come handy for a longterm stay.
