The Sofitel is well maintained with nice rooms and attentive staff. However, it is severely overpriced, the harbour view from our room was obscured by adjacent construction, and construction wake us up in the morning. I wouldn’t recommend this property, particularly whilst the construction is occurring. Once completed, it will also severely impact the view of lower rooms.

Perfection

Divine from the first moment to the last. We stayed in a club luxury corner & it was worth every penny. From check in drinks on arrival, the beautiful pool + bar, canapé service & breakfast we were spoilt. The service was perfect, not stuffy but nothing was too munch trouble. Not to mention all the little extras that made the difference. Loved this hotel.

The luxury service and feel of the accommodation was the best part. The rooftop pool and bar with views of Darling Harbour was the afternoon treat me and my partner enjoyed the most! Would definately stay again

Great hotel if you like to sleep on a rock

Great spot and very nice place to stay, however, bed was hard a a rock.

The Sofitel is in a perfect location to enjoy the harbor, the city, great food options, and easily get to all the key attractions. We were so pleased with our choice of hotel for our 5 day stay in Sydney.

Worst checkin experience ever. Checkin took an hour and I stayed one extra night room not cleaned or bed made. The receptionist was rude they have work to do!
