The room was nice, the staff lovely. The rooftop terrace was lacking, but good place to view the airplanes. The room was NOT sound proof, and the worst noise was from the cleaning staff. The lobby looked like a homeless shelter with everyone waiting for tthe magic hour

Dinner at Smithy’s bar down stairs was delicious steak sandwich was cooked to perfection & the bread was soft & delightful with a smooth sauce on a bed of rocket.

The room was clean and comfortable! Check-in was speedy as was checkout. The convenience for our arrival from a domestic flight (there is a bus that is free that will shuttle you from the domestic side of the airport to the international side.) and then to the international checking ( you can walk from the hotel in five mins) is so nice. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel for dinner and one for breakfast. You could also walk back into the airport and catch a train to circular quay too. (If you have the time and would want to go into Sydney for a lunch or dinner depending on your airport schedule.b it’s direct and restaurants are bound on the quay, or in the rocks district ( which is right by the quay)

Super convenient stay right next to the airport; you can’t beat the location. Check-in was quick and easy, and while the hotel isn’t advertised as super-lux, it delivers exactly what you need for a no-frills, comfortable overnight. Perfect for early flights or short stopovers

I quite enjoyed my stay at The Rydges. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was better than Rydges venues in Qld, and the facilities available were of a good standard
