We had an overnight stay. We got the train from the domestic airport and easy walk to the hotel. Sydney brewery was a nice surprise for dinner and buffet breakfast the next morning was wonderful. We were able to sneak in a quick train trip to circular quay and the harbour before checking out the next morning and walking to the station to get the train to Perth. Very comfortable room and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Easy check-in, lovely clean room and serviced when required. The only complaint is the air conditioning is a bit too noisy but apart from that we hade a very comfortable stay, good value for the location which is close to transport and lots of lovely places to eat around surry Hills

Great location. $10 bonus per day if you hang skip house keeping sign. Did for one but money was already deducted off card. Was offered refund back to card but not worth the hassle. If there is a promotion should followed through by reception staff.

Rooms are generous size with good facilities. Bathroom shower excellent! On site restaurant, Sydney brewery, I had the best pizza ever! On the downside was the slow lifts.

The Rydges property was an enjoyable stay, but the room rate of $399 taxes (total $438) was not justified. All services and facilities were good, but did not justify the room rate. In future I will book another option. The surrounding neighborhood is less than desirable in that the streetscape was dirty, footpaths damaged and unsafe and too many undesireable people just haning around.

Overall the hotel and staff were lovely and the room and shower very nice. It was in a nice central location and the reception staff gave some good advice about Sydney and places to visit.
