This was a great place to stop for a couple of nights in Taupo. The proximity to the lake and town centre was fantastic - an easy and pleasant walk. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Appreciated the access to washing machines. The games room could do with some maintenance and upgrade of facilities (eg the ping pong table had no net, there was no chalk for the pool cues.) Nevertheless we had some fun games with our seven year old, and had an enjoyable stay.

Very spacious, it's like one bedroom apartment, clean as well. Excellent location, lakeside, close to shops and restaurants. Friendly staffs. It's one of the best accommodation in Taupo.

We stayed as a group of five in a 2-Bedroom Deluxe Apartment for two nights during our recent trip to Taupō. While the location was convenient and the apartment had been recently renovated—especially the bathrooms—we were a bit disappointed by a few issues. The master bed was broken, several lights weren't working, and the shower door in the master bathroom didn’t close properly, which caused flooding even with a short shower. That said, the maintenance staff were extremely friendly and responsive, doing their best to help us during our stay.

Good but was expecting better for 2nd visit

2nd time staying. Would have been better if got the top floor instead of ground for the lake front view. Since was ground floor facing road and people walking by in front of window, net curtains would be nice for privacy while still seeing the lake.

Recommend Ika Nui

Easy check in and private access to upstairs unit. Loved the gardens and green surroundings. Very comfortable and clean. Early morning sun on the deck and view of the lake was most sppreciated
