Rooms are tired and dated with pots pans on their last legs. Our oven “cladding” was held together with green tape. Built-up grime is a feature. Staff, except for room service, were mostly surly and disinterested.

Cabin was very cramped and in need of an update. Bedding looked like it was from the 80s. Sleeps 4 but only has seating for 2. Shower cubicle so small, we weren’t able to shower our small children. Even with discount for staying there, access to the hot pools was going to cost our small family over $50 - we didn’t bother as pools only open for a few more hours so not worth it. The cabin was clean and facilities at the campground great. Kids loved the bouncing pad and playground. Location was great as this was a stop over on our longer road trip, good to be able to get off and on the bypass easily without needing to go into town

Clean Cabin. Main bed was comfy but the bunk bed mattress was very thin. The pool and mineral spa area was amazing and just what we needed after a long day of driving. Staff were very friendly, especially the blonde lady this morning who gave me some great tips for places to see along our next days journey.

So upon arrival to Cabin 12 we were greeted with what looked like a well presented cabin. When inside we notice that a screw is poking out of the drawers ( the sharp end). We had children with us so we had to try and take the screw out to prevent anyone getting scratched. The door to the main bedroom was missing and instead there was a raised piece of broken plastic on the floor which had to be avoided. We noticed at this point a couple of cockroaches, which we thought was normal for a campsite as we have come across some on our travels. So we proceeded to enjoy the pool activities which we had a fantastic time in the pool area. Back to the cabin we encountered another couple of cockroaches but again tried not to let it get in the way. Until later in the evening it got worse..... Alot worse. As soon as the sun went down it was like they came out with vengeance. Now we've stayed in a lot of places and come across the odd one here and there but this cabin had loads. They were running up on the chairs we were sitting on. Running on the fridge, the counter tops. On the walls of where the bunk beds are. At this point the reception was closed so we called out of hours. Granted due to the time it was, there wasn't alot that could be done. Or could there? surely there should be some sort of contingency for properties where an issue arises. We were handed a spray (which I wasn't going to use with children in the cabin). This looks like an infestation not the odd one.

We loved our stay the rooms were very nice, we had a lot of nature surrounding us and just felt so relaxing. The hot pools were great to enjoy in the afternoons as well. We will definitely stay again and next time bring our extended family.

We stay in a cabin which supplied 3 cups, 3 drinking glasses, 3 wine glasses which is great however although there was 3 knives, forks and spoons I just could not get my head around that there were no plates! I asked at the reception and they said because it does not have a kitchenette there is no plates. The shared kitchen had nothing supplied either and I dont recall this was mentioned anywhere when I booked.

Black mould on blinds

Blinds in room had black mould in motel 7. Received a disabled room which we did not book. If you have disabled rooms you need to advise customers of this. Mould on bathroom window frames but I can forgive this as it is a high humidity area.
