We loved our stay the rooms were very nice, we had a lot of nature surrounding us and just felt so relaxing. The hot pools were great to enjoy in the afternoons as well. We will definitely stay again and next time bring our extended family.

We stay in a cabin which supplied 3 cups, 3 drinking glasses, 3 wine glasses which is great however although there was 3 knives, forks and spoons I just could not get my head around that there were no plates! I asked at the reception and they said because it does not have a kitchenette there is no plates. The shared kitchen had nothing supplied either and I dont recall this was mentioned anywhere when I booked.

Overall it was beautiful stay. An army of ants were seen crawling in the corners and some stove tops were not working. But an amazing place.

We love De Bretts, but the finishing touches were missing this time. We paid $960 for 3 nights, the room wasn't serviced for 3 days, dishwasher liquid not supplied, service requests not followed up. Hot pool renovation is awesome and very cool for kids.

The unit was great and clean, and conveniently placed. No rubbish bags replaced after taken away. Very dissapointed the pools were closed during our stay.

The view of the lake was awesome and when the sky was clear you could see Mt ruapehu from our lodging. The heated floor was a bonus for the winter chill and the beds were nice and soft. Town was down the road and family activities were close by. Was an amazing time for me and my family.
