Open plan living is on tiles with underfloor heating - perfect for both sandy feet and in the winter months! This flows out onto the private back patio with two outdoor dining areas and a cute small chair perfect for relaxing in the afternoon sun.

The garage converted into a rumpus room is stocked with books and board games, plus a comfy chair to relax in while you catch up on some holiday reading.

Sandcastles on Tay is in a great location on Tay Street, only 4 minutes walk to the beach, stopping past Tay St Beach Cafe for delicious brunch or coffee. Take the boogie boards provided down for fun in the waves, or fly a kite at Blake Park. You're also very close to the international cricket grounds for anyone keen to catch a match!

This is a wonderful holiday home for families, close to the heart of the action but down a peaceful street away from the bustling main strip. You're just a 5-minute drive to the Mount Hot Pools and walking track up famous Mt Maunganui.

Great family Weekend away

The space was perfect for us and the underfloor heating a bonus in winter. Our young lab, loved having her space in the garden too and the walks to the beach were short and sweet. We will most definitely love to stay there again. The house was well equipped.

We found the property to be satisfactory although starting to show its age.Some issues with window hardware and taps and waste in upstairs bathroom. The location is handy to Mt Maunganui town centre and a supermarket close by. Covered parking for 1 vehicle a bonus. Chris & Bob, Auckland.

Had a good weekend break. A home away from home with the beach just down the road. Only negative in todays day and age was the Wifi/internet signal was very poor, not to much of a problem on a short stay but on a longer stay maybe. Will definately recommend this property if you want a home away from home stay in Mt Muanganui.
