Was absolutely perfect for intended purpose - which was having a place to stay that was close enough to the train station leading to Haneda Airport for a few nights. I didn't want to stay TOO close to the airport because the only thing in that area is just business hotels, but Kamata had a nice mixture of shopping (Tokyu Plaza), food (lots of restaurants) and convenience (Family Mart & Seven Eleven just a few minutes away), plus it's on a direct line into Tokyo proper if you want to go sightseeing. Some construction happening in the area, but nothing major and the noises didn't carry to my hotel room anyway. The room itself was impeccably clean, and the best part was having a washing machine/dryer IN the room with detergent included! Staff was friendly and kind, and the room was nice and quiet. Provided pajamas, everything was tidy and all-around enjoyable. My one 'complaint' would be that the room is so narrow that there was nowhere for me to open my luggage fully - I always had to prop up one side on the wall. I know most hotels in Japan are like this (unless they're VERY expensive), but it did make packing a struggle. Still, this place is an absolute STEAL for the price! Would definitely stay again!

This is probably the best place to stay the night before departing via Haneda Airport. I especially appreciated the fact that the staff took the trouble to arrange nightwear of my size when I made the request before arrival. The kitchenette worked exactly as hoped. However during my stay the washer-dryer failed halfway giving an E94 error, which forced me to hand dry my clothes using the (admittedly excellent) Refa hairdryer. The humidity in the room also never dropped below 70% despite my turning on the aircon to dry mode for pretty much the entire stay. If the equipment were just a little better maintained it would be perfect.

Stayed for 1 night before travelling to the airport. Dropped off my luggage before check in time & when checked in, staff had already placed this in my room which was a lovely surprise! Check in was easy and city tax had been included in Expedia booking cost so no additional payment needed. Room was comfortable and clean. Limited space in the room for luggage but manageable. Very close to Keikyu-Kamata station for local train lines and train to Haneda. 15 minute walk from Kamata station for JR lines. Lots of shops and restaurants near the stations. Had paid for breakfast, this was a variety of frozen foods which put in microwave (either in lobby or your room). Can choose 2 from pastries/onigiri and a frozen soup.
