We recently stayed at the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel, and overall, it was a good experience.
Pros:
1) Convenient Location – The hotel is directly connected to the airport via an outdoor covered walkway, making it an easy walk to and from the terminals. Perfect for layovers or early morning flights.
2) Friendly Staff – The service was excellent; the staff were welcoming, professional, and eager to help with any requests.
3) Great Buffet – The breakfast buffet was well-stocked with a variety of fresh options, making it a solid start to the day.
Cons:
1) No In-Room Fridge – This was a downside, especially for those who need to refrigerate medications. However, they do offer a portable fridge upon request, which is a helpful workaround.
2) No Mini-Bar – While not a dealbreaker, it’s worth noting for those who expect one in a hotel of this category.
3) No Uber pick-up is available from the hotel. You either have to take a taxi or walk to the Uber pick-up point at the airport terminal. There is no problem with drop-offs.
Overall, if you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient stay with excellent service and a good breakfast, the Sheraton Amsterdam is a solid choice—just plan ahead if you need refrigeration.
