Would rate this as a bit better charter hotel, for tourist having a very early flight next day. The location was good, quite close (9min by car) to airport with a nice modern lobby and simple, but clean and functional room. We were 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) and the room was spacious. The gym and pool were ok. We had dinner at the hotel, an all you can eat buffet for a fair price and for being a buffet, quite tasty. The breakfast was standard, what you can expect from a hotel with most likely majority charter tourists. Staff was friendly, as mostly in the Netherlands. Overall, a good hotel but not a business traveller place.

It was just an hassle. No shuttle transport from the airport and it was so cold at the airport. I had to pay for the taxi which so expensive. When we came to the hotel the reception staffs were helpful and they said someonelse will come to do the booking because it was from Expedia. Overall journey to the hotel was expensive and tiring.

The pool is incredibly beautiful; you can look out the window, and sometimes the water is heated when there are swimming lessons for children. The rooms (apartments) were very spacious. We really appreciated the friendly receptionist's solution-oriented approach and smiles. The food was excellent, the restaurant was very comfortable, and there was a large copper samovar for Turkish tea. It's incredible. There's a parking lot, and there's also free parking next to the hotel. Getting into the city by car was very easy.

First, let me say that this is a nice hotel is you’re looking for something close to Schiphol airport. Good value for the price paid. The reason for my low rating is due to the fact that it was not clear where the check-in area was: I booked at the Urban hotel got dropped off there by my taxis with my 2 suitcases only to be told to go back to the main hotel reception to check in. There was no mention of this in my booking or on the hotel website. The security guard at the Urban told me that I would get an upgrade as a result which obviously was not the case. I have worked in customer service and can accept errors but please don’t make promises you can’t follow through with. The other item I disliked was the fact there was no way to turn off the lights in the bathroom. When I called, I was told I should wait a couple of minutes as they turn off automatically. This is only the case IF the 2 bathroom doors are perfecty closed. It’s also annoying when you’re trying to sleep right away to get this light coming through the glass bathroom doors. Otherwise, the hotel was on.

LISA greeted me at the front desk, quickly, efficiently and professionally and cheerfully. She gave me lots of tips and pointers about how to use the facility and the pool and the breakfast area. The room was clean, sharply appointed, elegant, in its simplicity, and far more than I expected. I was very, very pleased. The water and the coffee maker were above and beyond. I will stay here again.
