Good location, poor restaurant service

Checkin was friendly and quick. Hotel was nice and conveniently connected to the airport (enclosed easy walk). Room was orderly, clean, and spacious. No issues with noise. The Achilles' heal was service personnel in both restaurants/bars. A lot of workers moving about but only chaos resulted. Example, I sat at the bar (only person) with just a few people seen at the tables. I ordered a simple drink (old fashioned) and an appetizer. No less than six workers were observed moving about the bar area, but I did not observe much getting accomplished. Behind the bar, dirty glasses were mounded up. It took over 15 minutes to get my drink. During that wait time no one stopped to explain or apologize for whatever the cause of the delay or offered to get me anything as I waited.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this lovely airport hotel. Located inside Schiphol the Sheraton is a bright, clean, airy and stylish hotel. Our welcome on check-in was polite and friendly, all common areas we passed through were well maintained and nicely appointed, which also extended to our room. Spacious, comfortable, lovely products in the bathroom… and a shout out to housekeeping for doing a marvellous job. We are staying here again in December and would not hesitate to recommend.

Very nice people and quiet but overpriced. Breakfast was a little disappointing with the same beans issued every day with leftover tomatoes or whatever - thicker and thicker.
