Great value for money. Just average feeling hotel. Seems that they have tried to freshen up rooms etc with paint but might be time to get some resurfacing of the pool etc done as makes the pool itself look unclean, although sure it was .. i didn't bother going in.

The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Rooms are small but mostly everything worked. Our room phone didn't work but we didn't end up needing it. The various hotel staff I interacted with were all friendly and helpful. The pool was basically unusable; there were many kids in it one day and then after that it was cloudy and green. The hot tub was ok but the room both are in was very hot and humid so it was not very pleasant to be in there.

Not the worst hotel to stay the night, front desk staff was friendly when checking in. The carpet in the room was a little gross. Bathtub was gross looking, looked like it was in a desperate need of a replacement or a good scrubbing. The pool needed to be cleaned, the water was quite cloudy.

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites in North Cedar Rapids. Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly, which I really appreciated. The lobby and common areas were well-maintained, and the location was convenient for my trip. That said, I did have a couple of issues that impacted my stay. On the first night, there was a group of guests partying on the back patio until around 2am, and it was extremely loud and disruptive. I’m all for people enjoying their stay, but it felt like there was no noise policy being enforced. The second night, I had a pretty unsettling experience while lying in bed, I noticed a large bug (possibly a roach or water bug) crawl across my blanket. Needless to say, I didn’t get much sleep after that. This hotel does have potential, and I hope my experience was just a one-off. If management can address the noise control and ensure pest prevention is a top priority, it would definitely improve the overall guest experience.

You get what you pay for. The front desk was very helpful and friendly at check in. The door to the room looked like it has been pried open at one point and then repaired. The bathroom was handicap accessible, but just really odd. The shower head pointed out into the bathroom instead of towards the seat. There was a landline telephone next to the toilet.The fitness room was pathetic. It only had a stationary bike, elliptical, and maybe a treadmill. Breakfast was only 6am - 9:00am. Overall, the building was older and outdated.
