What can I say about the Tabacon except OMG! 3 things that stood out were the customer service, the impeccable coordination of the facilities, and of course the exquisite thermal spa. Ton checking in a golf cart takes you from the lobby to your room. Everything is accessible via the electronic bracelets that are provided at check in (this serves as your room key, gym access, (the gym is very clean), and allows you to charge things to the room such as gift shop purchases, meals, poolside service etc.) The breakfast buffet is available for a fee ; we got lucky to see the toucans each day high above the trees And the highlight of course was the magnificent thermal springs. It is normal to walk out of your room with your bathing suit on, and with a bathrobe over it (the one provided in the room) and saunter over to the lobby. The shuttle comes by every 5 mins; when you arrive at the springs, simply go to the towel dispensary and also get a locker key. And then off you go - exploring spring after spring. Some are cold (eg the hexagon pool), and others are warm; some have water falls and others are serene. One note is that the pools have different flooring (with some that are paved, and others that are a little rocky and mossy) - so tread cautiously till you figure your way around. Exclusive to hotel guests is the upper most secluded area called Shangri La comprising several pools and cabana side service. The whole experience is remarkable, unforgettable and restorative.

Beautiful immaculate property. Great helpful staff, so many hot springs and pools, with really fun monkey slide. Enjoyed onsite activities like tubing, rock climbing, horseback riding (through the river was wild). And love the free laundry we can use. Food is pretty good too. Highly recommend!
