There was nothing about this property i did not like. Everything was excellent, the food, the staff, the grounds the views. It was the best place we stayed on our trip. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and the history about the place and New Zealand was excellent.

The unit was clean, in good condition, and the bed was comfortable. Instant coffee, teabags, sweeteners, and milk were available in the room along with an electric kettle. Breakfast was very good. Check in and out was simple and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Superb experience all around- kindest and most helpful staff (Barbara at check-in was fantastic!), gorgeous room with breathtaking views, spectacular gardens, excellent tour with Carol at the castle, most delicious made-to-order and buffet breakfast!
