Location is lovely. Few minutes walk into the small town but you feel like you’re in the rainforest with the rooms backing directly onto foliage. We had a twin Queen room and loved it. Spotlessly clean with amazing comfy beds and linen. Fab shower. Loved the bird song which was piped through the tv - lovely welcome. Dinner and breakfast included both of which were excellent quality although the choice was not that large for dinner. Few patrons (including us) commented about the slow service especially drinks at dinner but the staff were lovely.

We loved our stay at Te Waonui. The staff were friendly and engaging immediately making us feel comfortable and welcome. The pre-fixed 5 course dinner was a fantastic deal and the quality of the food was excellent. The rooms are lovely and it is nice to have a pleasant view each morning when awaking.
