This was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it exceeded expectations. The front desk staff were warm and accommodating—especially with the included beach chair and towel rentals, which made our beach days effortless. A true highlight of our stay was the free hula and lei-making classes. Cheryl and her team were absolutely incredible, and my mom and I LOVED every moment—it added such a special and memorable touch to our trip. What made our experience truly unforgettable, though, was Mildred from housekeeping on the 10th floor. Every day she greeted us with the kindest smile and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Our room was always clean, fresh, and welcoming after long days of exploring. We’re already looking forward to returning—and honestly, we’ll keep coming back just for Cheryl and Mildred. They made our stay feel like home!

I loved that we were in a central location and only five mins from the beach. However, I wasn't happy with the extra costs and not being able to each breakfast in peace with all of the birds trying to get our food. And I didn't like that the pool wasn't open for us either. If the amenities aren't available, it should be mentioned to customers prior too. And there should be more people getting birds away from customers food.

Main elevator of 2 was broken for over a week. I know it was down for at least this duration from hearing other guests. There seemed to be no ongoing effort to repair it. People had to climb up and down the narrow emergency staircase or wait 15 mins in line (at least) just to use the overcrowded elevator. A serious accident was waiting to happen, especially since there is a high, hidden step when you exit the staircase door onto the valet area. Completely unacceptable when there are so many tourists staying there at the time.

Cockroaches!!! Soooooo many. Soooooo disgusted. The halls never vacuumed sandy every day. Breakfast was terrible food selection so boring and the birds eating ypur food and harassing you trying to eat was awful. Pool was closed down.

Property was beautiful only complaint was the pool was under construction however the beach was literally a one minute walk away so it made up for it.! The staff was super friendly we enjoyed every minute of our stay

One out of two elevators were out of service for several days of our stay. We had to walk 9 flights because the wait for the elevator was too long (20+mins) The pool was closed Breakfast was cold and stale tasting (French toast)

It was a great experience due to the hospitality of the staff. They were very approachable and accommodating. The first room they gave us was very small and I was getting claustrophobic, but upon requesting to move to different room they really helped and moved us to a bigger room with better view of the ocean. Only thing which really mattered to us was the pool their pool was closed due to construction they did ask to use sister hotel pool but how many times will any body bother to carry all the stuff and go to another place for using the pool, but the beach was closer and tht helped.
