The rooms were too small for my family of three. The smallest bed by the wall is where I froze in my sleep where the cold air from the window was felt. The blankets were best suited for the summer and when we asked for additional blankets we were given these loin cloth sized weak “blankets”. The floors were gross…lacked space to properly store our shoes. Breakfast wasn’t worth the price; lacked international variety. Staff: They were superb.

The rooms are extremely small. This is definitely a Japanese business hotel. We had to get another room because it was too small for three adults. Our luggage just would not fit comfortably. It’s in a great location within walking distance to sightseeing. They do have a free shuttle to go to the bamboo forest and shrines. Very clean. My only complaint was the room size. Staff is extremely helpful!

The hotel was great. I checked in a little earlier but they were fine with me having a room. The room was was very clean and tidy, and very spacious however the breakfast wasn't great but i only stayed in kyoto for 1 night. The staff were also happy to mind my case on check out whilst I went to get my last drip of Kyoto. Also if you get a shinkansen as i did from Tokyo to Kyoto, get an un reserved seat and you can leave Kyoto at anytime that day.
