This hotel was on the main street near the intersection of 2 main subway lines. It was also near the imperial Kyoto park. Our group of 3 enjoyed this hotel and its location.

Room was well laid out and more spacious than other hotels we stayed at for the same price point. Offered free tea and sake, which was nice bonus. Room had nice decor but lacked a bit of natural light. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast can be improved and be more diverse. But overall was ok. Everything was neat and clean. Loved the free shuttle to the golden temple and the bamboo forest. Rooms were neat and clean.

The mini refrigerator had no space , only you can put 4 or 5 cans of drinks. You wont be able to fit any 2L water bottle inside that. Smaller than any mini fridge I have ever seen, almost useless. And only one microwave in the lobbybeside receptionist.

Excellent hotel, conveniently situated from lots of Kyoto landmarks such as Nijō castle that is about a 20 minute walk. If you want to book a short stay in Kyoto I can't recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel was nice, the rooms are spacious and clean. I wouls stay here again, but the location was a bit far from central. If you lime quiet its the best place. I rented during renovations.. so I couldn't experience the dining nor has laundry. There wasnt much to do in the hotel. One th epostive side there was free sake event.
