A very nice functional hotel in an area of Kyoto that you can get to several other areas (Nishiki Market, Gion, Hagashiyama and more) fairly easily either on foot or a short taxi ride. The staff we extremely helpful and friendly. If you are looking for luxury and extra comfort, this is not that place, but it was comfortable for me and I would highly recommend for any traveler that wants a solid place to stay.
