My decision to book this hotel was based on numerous good reviews; however, my stay was disappointing. I was under the impression that it was an apartment with kitchen facilities, so I purchased groceries for breakfast before checked in. Upon arrival, I found only a small room with a toaster and no television. The most alarming issue was that the door could not be locked. Given our vulnerable ground-floor location, we felt unsafe and had a very restless night, unfortunately we found this issue after front desk close at 6pm! It was a profoundly negative experience.

Generally pretty nice, but they were completely unable to give us each a key or prevent locking the internal doors causing which ever of us was in the room by themselves being locked out of half of the space. Check that they aren't doing a "key audit" if booking for more than 1 person.

Really can’t fault my overnight stay. Communication from the concierge was instant and were helpful in explaining what to do. Instructions also given over text and plenty of signage to make it easy. Super comfy bed! Love the pull off shower head, milk, tea etc provided too. Will stay again!

Lift was out on check in and had to climb up to the 3rd floor with baggage. Noisy at night. Is there a nightclub nearby?? No reception on hand. I woke up on Sunday morning with a few blood spots on the bed. And then I spotted a bug which was a BED BUG!! GROSS!!

Definitely NOT 4.5 stars too many problems to list and I have spoken to reception & Hotels.com. Air conditioning unit sounded like an aeroplane in my bedroom, the furniture was all stained, the bathroom wasn’t clean. Well, the TV in the bedroom is missing and I ordered a king size bed that was a queen or double on king size base. No thank you

Weekend away- studio room comfortable, 'microwave, kettle and fridge' one chair to sit on, disabled ensuite but no where to place toilet bags or hang robes etc. Cheap and great position.
