Thank you for staying in our cottage 3 Fleur De Lis. We asked on numerous occasions to let us know of any issues/concerns during your stay, one call would have remedied the problem. In the cottage, there are the central ducted heating and gas log fire. If the gas log fire is used in manual mode at high temperatures, it does have a safety measure that when it is too hot the fan does kick in to cool the unit to safer levels.
