Comfortable, reasonably priced, & convenient

I booked a very last minute stay about 15 minutes before I arrived at 9 PM. The check in process was quick and easy, the clerk was nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. I appreciate its convenient location near Whole Foods and the restaurants / shopping in Del Monte Center. The location was also quiet.

Okay Stay

Overall our stay was okay, but the pictures don't represent what the property actually looks like. Our room had a shared balcony with the room next to us and the blinds did not shut all the way which was uncomfortable. There was an odor coming from the bathroom sink that was unpleasant and offputting. The breakfast was not a breakfast, just stale bagels and lukewarm coffee.

Hotel was conveniently located across from the Del Monte Shopping Center. Road access was very good. Breakfast was self-serve, but adequate. Area nearby has plenty of restaurants and is close to downtown Monterey. Staff was friendly and helpful

This little hotel was so charming and a great place to stay in Monterey. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the fireplace helped create a cozy environment in our room. The hot tub was clean and very hot, and the breakfast was not bad! It could have included some protein and fruit, but it had yogurt, granola bars, coffee, juice, toast and oatmeal. It was located close to Cannery Row and the price was awesome. We’d definitely recommend it and come back!

Room showed its age but was very clean. Price was great, hot tub was a nice bonus. Was disturbed to see someone had gone through the outdoor garbage overnight, but out of the hotels control.

Got the Townhouse room. Location was 10/10, conveniently across the street from a mall and super close to main attractions. Carmel by the sea, Cannery Row, Point lobos, ETC I don’t get all of the bad reviews. Room was nice and clean, plenty of space, and good pricing. Saw reviews about the headboard being scratched or worn out, multiple people stay there throughout the year I’m sure it’ll start to show some wear and tear. Breakfast was basic but I’m not complaining. It’s meant to keep you satisfied so that you can go to a nice restaurant in the surrounding area like ocean ave in Carmel (10 min drive) or cannery row (15 min max). Saw a review complaining about the smell of bleach, I’d rather smell bleach and know that stuff is actually getting cleaned the right way rather than worry if they cleaned at all. Overall would recommend and would stay again.

Room was clean modern and quiet, Parking garage was an added plus. A large shopping and dining complex was just across the street. The grounds were quite nice. Surrounding area was very pleasant. I had only two concerns, the exterior hallway card locks have been disabled or not working. The remodeled tub and shower combination is very slippery and there are no grab rails.
