The bar in the lobby doesn’t open until 3 which is unfortunate since we were on vacation and wanted breakfast/lunch cocktails. It was also unfortunate that every night we were woken up by doors slamming and people screaming on the floor level. Other than that, the room was very clean and nice.

the only one issue I had was my room is too far from the conference center. most of the conference attendees were staying cross the conference center. my room is like 8-10 minuets away from it. not very convinience

Almost all good. Plentiful parking, a lot of activities on site. Stayed there with my family for Big Sur marathon. A couple of suggestions: have bottle and wine openers in the room. A few more towels and hooks to hang clothes wouldn’t hurt either.

Great stay and great customer service

It was a great stay. Our WiFi didn’t work for us to chromcast to the tv so they allowed us unlimited on demand movies for our whole stay. I thought that was great customer service.

As a family of four we really enjoyed our short stay at the Hyatt as we explored Monterey for a few days. The hotel was clean, safe, friendly and rooms worked great. We were fans of the buffet breakfast, tennis courts and the pools. Would definitely stay again.

Monterey Spring Break Trip

The property was huge, has two heated pools and hot tubs, fire pits for roasting smores, and family games like ping pong and bocce ball. There are also tennis courts and a golf course on site. It was a little hard to find our room, and the balcony was a little dusty but overall a great stay. Our room had vaulted ceilings, comfy beds and a very nice bathroom. Great place for families.

The nights were cold so we had to use the heater. The heater to keep temperature when turning on would sound like a gas lawn mower being started up. This was every 30 min all night long each night and didn’t make for a good night sleep. I have video proof if needed.

Poor service at check in

Poor service at checkin. There were some issues with my booking and the woman just shrugged, blamed Expedia and told me I was out of luck. Staff should be trained that third party agents are contracted by the hotel and that the hotel are responsible for listing errors. Some better customer service would be nice too, especially considering we spent $500 per night for our room.
