This property is old and unattractive. Barely better aesthetics than a Motel 6. Windows were to an air shaft. Ughh. Room was spare but not in a stylish minimalist way. Just starkly plain with cheap finishes. Shared elevator with construction workers and their debris. Be warned: there could be a lot of noise and disruption. I came late just as construction workers were leaving and departed early just as they arrived. Hotel staff members were friendly

Gotta rave about our stay at the CQ Grand Central!! My wife and I are an older couple...we've travelled extensively and stayed in all matter of hotels but our recent stay at this CQ checked off every box! We had a corner room on the 21st fl. with an amazing view straight down Lexington Ave. The room had literally everything we wanted. Clean, quiet, extremely well appointed and with a very helpful, friendly staff. What's not to love!!! Oh yeah, and a block from the Grand Central Terminal...so convenient! We want to go back RIGHT NOW!!

During our time there our floor was under construction, we were not made aware before booking. We spent our time within the room hearing construction workers work on the property. The cleanliness of the bathroom was subpar, the toilet and shower had mysterious stains on it.
