I stayed for 5 nights and I love the area, great restaurants near by. The hotel was clean, great size room. The first issue was the sheets when we got room service, they had light stains on the pillow cases. Another issue is I called ahead to ask about the security deposit and the receptionist said “no deposit.” We arrived at the hotel and I was charged $300 for a security deposit.

When I checked, in the only towels in the bathroom were one wash cloth and one small hand towel - no bath towels. I immediately requested towels and they were not delivered until I made a second request at bed time (5 hours after check-in). When I left, one of the three elevators was out of service and neither of the two operating elevators was stopping at my floor. After waiting 35 minutes (!#!) and making two calls to the front desk I had to carry my luggage down 5 flights of stairs in order to get out of the hotel. Finally, I am an IHG One Rewards member but the receptionist was unable to link my stay to my IHG account.

I've been staying at a different chain for years in NYC and decided to do something different. I do a 5-6 night stay and will stay at EVEN from now on. My room was so cozy and had such great views, and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

This is a great way to spend a couple of days in the city. The hotel is located just up from grand central station and next to the Chrysler building. It’s a quiet area away from the hustle but total access to the subway. The rooms are small but efficient and clean. The hotel breakfast was a nice choice of prepared omlets, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, a breakfast biscuit sandwich, or avacado toast. It was very clean and the staff were friendly.

Overall experience was great!!! One thing I would say is that while the overall room was clean, the bed pillows had some stains and the blankets too. Staff was amazing!!! New York experience was amazing, I really hope to come visit again soon!!
