Perfect Location - but always take known transport
Margaritaville is perfectly located a couple blocks from Time Square proper, right next to the Subway station connecting you to any part of the city and yet is quiet and feels like an escape. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small (as are all rooms in NY, but we had a sufficient amount of space for the stay. The only complaint is watch out for recommendations by security for a driver. When we were leaving, we planned to get an Uber and Darren, working the lobby, told us he had the hotel lobby car there to take us to LGA. We arrived at the airport and the driver said $65 if cash, $73 if card. An Uber was $60 so it wasn’t the amount but rather being completely caught off card especially when I had $50 in cash I planned to tip. Fast forward, due added his own $15 dollar tip to my card and is NOT licensed to transport people in NY for a fee.

Great stay at Margaritaville!
We always LOVE staying at the Margaritaville brand hotels. We stayed at the Orlando location and this time we went up to NYC. They upgraded us to a panoramic view room, which was great because it was my husband’s first time in NYC. Customer service is always 10/10! Would recommend to anyone!
