There were insects in the room, and the floor wasn’t clean + be careful when you book the room, the one I booked has no bathroom. It has to be shared. Not a good experience. The only good part is that it’s cheap in manhattan.

I was pleasantly surprised by this property...small space yes but designed with intention. Not for everyone but for me alone it was a good fit. Definitely value for the area. It was close to 5th avenue and the subway. I would go back again!

Booked the room with its own bathroom, make sure you check before booking or else you'll be sharing! Our room did not have a working AC/heating unit but they comped us for it. Cleanliness was good, rooms are tight but as to be expected in NYC. Rooftop view is great. Water pressure was good and had hot water

My best stay at pod 51

I have been staying at pod 51 for as long as i can remember. It is my home away from home when i visit NY. Location, location! Its a hidden gem! The staff is friendly and helpful and Albert the manager is always helpful to me! I notice a few renovations of the rooms and i anticipate more like bathroom fixture and new seatings in the lobby. After visiting time and time again, i finally got an upgrade to one of the best rooms ever! I will now ask to get that room from now on lol. Continue to do the great work. My recent stay was great!

Was very nice and perfect for a few nights, small rooms but the bunk beds are nice and there's a everything you could need. Staff were great with cleaning and bathrooms were always cleaned and mostly stocked.

The Queen pod was comfortable for the two of us. The bathroom was very small but adequate. Our room was on the second floor along the street, so it was quite noisy.
