The room was very clean, the hotel overall, was clean too. For some reason, the elevator smell like some kind of fish. I rated with 3 stars cause the location. The only place "near" the hotel it’s the 9/11 memorial, all other tourist location are so far from the hotel!. The location of the hotel looks like very risky if you travel with family. The employees are so kind, and the breakfast it’s a A+

The breakfast was really good, and I appreciated the coffee and hot chocolate counters since it was so cold. The downside would definitely be the smell in the hallways, and our toilet didnt flush well. They came up and fixed it supposedly, but it never worked well the whole time.

When I checked in I was given a different room than I had reserved. They explained they were oversold. Which is not my problem. They offered no compensation. But the room turned out to be fine. The hotel smelled like there was a dead animal in the wall. It was hard to stand in the hallway or walk to the room bc the smell was so bad. The staff was nice. The doors got locked late night and the room card didn’t open the doors (even though they still worked to open the door to our room). We hit the buzzer multiple times and no staff arrived. Luckily my other son was still in the room and he came and let us in.

Staff was courteous. Negatives were substantial. On 5th floor 95 Henry st Ny, constant odor of garbage, clearly not vacuumed every day.Inconsistent heat in 519. Room clean enough but no housekeeping on 12/14. We were out from before noon until 9PM. Fire alarm blinks all night. (Turn the bed!). Dates on stay are incorrect. It was 12/12-15.
