The location. Close to time square and all main attractions. Many cafes, restaurants, bars in walkable distance. Subway across the street. Rooms and bathrooms can be bit more cleaner.

This hotel is awesome! Clean... they offer you a glass of wine... it is renovated. Great location. Very walkable. Be sure to sign up for IHG membership and get the parking and roof top breakfast in your package. Friendly staff. Nice little store with snacks and beverages. Nice new design. Reasonably priced. This was our second time staying at Kimpton and we will go back. There are two Kimpton hotels. The Theta location is in Times Square.
