Housekeeping Drops the Ball

Everything went smoothly until the last day. Housekeeping was a bit hesitant to come by when I called which was around 4pm. They did come every outveach day & hung the we hung the sign out before leaving but when we came back in late afternoon it still wasn’t taken of. Other than that besides very small rooms was ok.

And old fashioned club with updated amenities

Love the look and the feel of the Renwick. It’s like an old-fashioned club that makes everyone feel at home. Free coffee is waiting for you in the bar area every morning …croissants and muffins are just a few bucks more. And the rooms are delightful. Mine had a stunning soaker tub with grab bars for safety and shampoo and crème rinse dispensers near by. The bed was luxurious, and I appreciated the small fridge to store stuff. I can’t say enough about the front desk staff. Even with my very late arrival, everyone was friendly and more than happy to suggest places to eat and drink nearby. In fact ,just about every need was met with efficiency and a smile. I can’t wait to go back … and recommend the hotel to my friends.

Second time here and love it. Good sized rooms, convenient to so much that nyc has to offer and quiet at the end of a long day. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Stayed in a room w 2 queen beds with my daughter and we were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Cockroaches!!!!

We arrived to a friendly and helpful staff. The hotelis conveniently located, the room and hotel looked lovely, nicely decorated and clean. However, in the morning before our flight we discovered a few VERY large cockroaches scurrying across the floor near our luggage as we packed. We were beyond horrified!! We quickly gathered our things and got out of the room. The front desk receptionist was helpful, empathetic and profusely apologized for our experience. We were disappointed we never did receive a call or an email from the manager (as promised) addressing the situation and reimbursing us.

We had an amazing stay at the Renwick. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They had umbrellas to borrow and all the amenities for a great stay. The beds were comfy, the rooms a decent size for nyc. Location was perfect.
