My recent stay at The Times Square EDITION left me with mixed feelings, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to others seeking a memorable experience.
First and foremost, the hotel is overpriced, and what's worse, they charge you for various things without informing you beforehand. This lack of transparency regarding additional charges is disappointing and gives the impression of a money-grabbing approach that does not align with the expectations of a top-tier establishment.
The stay itself was very mediocre. The hotel room, in particular, was incredibly small, far from the spacious and comfortable atmosphere portrayed in the pictures. The misleading images on the website create false expectations, and the reality is a cramped space that doesn't justify the price tag attached to it.
While the majority of the staff was friendly and accommodating, the checkout receptionist stood out for all the wrong reasons. Not only was their demeanor rude, but they also refused to explain the various fees on my bill. Instead of providing clarity, they dismissively instructed me to check the website for details. This lack of customer service and unwillingness to address concerns is unacceptable, especially when dealing with financial matters.
