Sorry…. but only if you get a low rate.. Restauant closed Sunday,Bedside light not working,bathroom light may have been a sensor, but had a mind of its own. Has had a minor makeover but needs some love.

Thanks Stephen for your review.Yes, the restaurant is closed for dinner over the weekend which is advertised on all advertisements. There are multiple reasons for this which we won't go into detail on here however happy to discuss if you wish to call.For your easy reference, the restaurant hours are below:BreakfastTuesday - Friday - 7am - 8:30amDinnerMonday - Thursday - 6pm - 8pm (last orders are required to be in by 7:30pm)As you’ll be aware, we did provide you with a 2 page list of all places to eat at in Parkes along with their operating times on check in since you stayed when our restaurant was closed.In relation to the bedside lamps, we have tested these and they do work. You may not have been aware, that the bedside lamps have two switches, both are required to be on for the lights to work. We would've been happy to show you if this was questioned during your stay with us.Lastly, and with regards to the bathroom light, we are confused by your comment as the light is operated by a light switch and no other guests have had issues with this? The light is not a sensor light and can only be operated by turning on a light switch.We are very proud of our rooms and believe that they are well maintained.We do endeavor to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable stay with us. The stay at The Station Hotel was fine and we enjoyed the rooms that were booked.
A bit strange that at 8:00am when we went to the restaurant for breakfast we were advised breakfast was finished even though the hotel website advertised that Breakfast was from 7:00am to 8:30am.
That was disappointing however we ended up having a superb breakfast & coffee at Bella’s Italian cafe.

the staff was so incredibly helpful, lovely. the room was nice and clean, they even made my bed whilst i was at work.
i would go and stay there again either for work or leisure.
