Great area to stay in, close to the Wharf and pretty easy to walk to everything or the buses to get to other locations. Rooms had a little bit of a musty smell to it but you got used to it after a second lol Breakfast was great every morning and good coffee. The staff were great.

The room and amenities were not as expected especially considering the cost. Beds are uncomfortable the breakfast was subpar and reused. The water pressure was low and the room in itself seemed out of date and stuck in the 80’s to bad the price didn’t match.

I truly enjoyed staying here with my family. It’s conveniently located near fisherman’s wharf and walking distance to pier 39 and Ghirardelli square. Valet parking could be a bit much but keeps your car safe and comparable to garage parking nearby for a daily rate. Breakfast is convenient and they have a 24 hr coffee station which is a wonderful touch. Housekeeping did an amazing job daily. The staff were very friendly and front desk staff provided info on great places nearby for those that have never visited before.

The bad: We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and I think it will take my back a week to recuperate from the hard as rock mattresses. The other issue is that the first day we noticed that the housekeeper would put wet signs up when he was mopping but one day there wasn’t and my husband took a pretty bad fall. So adding this injury to the hard beds it made sleeping extra uncomfortable. The breakfast would have been nice to change up the food options. All three days there were eggs, sausage and potatoes as the main dishes. Now there is pancake, cereal, regular bread options, yogurts and some fruit. It would have been nice to have a different main course option for guest who are staying multiple days. The good: good location to fisherman’s wharf, the cable cars, pier 39 and Ghirardelli square.

Everyone working in the hotel from cleaning staff to management was immediately attentive, courteous, and greeted the guest with a smile and acknowledgement. It was great having 24-hour desk and coffee or tea in the lobby. The dining area was lively and well-used by the guests for dining, computer use, and as a general family interaction place. It was great to have a number of breakfast options buffet style ready starting at 6:30am to prepare for a day of sightseeing. The managemant is so attentive to every need and request. I had a malfunctioning USB port on one side of the bed and within a short time, they had changed it completely. The location itself is within walking distance of the pier and Ghirardelli. Several bus/other transport lines are within a block or two. Just fantastic and i would book again on my next visit to SF.

It wasn’t bad however we were on the 2nd floor street side it was very loud early in the morning on Friday due to trash removal. There was also a barking dog staying in a room near us. Both not the fault of the hotel itself. But still kinda annoying. Otherwise quiet the other mornings. Good location to cable car, Giardelli Square and other warf attractions. Parking was very easy and safe with their vallet service. Employees were nice and helpful.

Excellent 6 night stay. Good area for seeing all the dutes with good sccess to buses, trams and trolley buses within a short distance. Breakfast can be a bit chaotic at times if lots of people come down at same time, but staff do an excellent job of trying to keep supplies of food available.
