MarFarm is a unique farm stay, in the heart of Edna Valley

MarFarm is located on a 60 acre working horse farm in the heart of Edna Valley, the Central Coast's premiere wine country. An animal lovers haven; there are are dozens of horses along with alpacas, chickens, ponies, a mini donkey, lambs, goats and a pot belly pig named Daisy. All animals are located right outside the door and windows of MarFarm. Most are located right outside a deck with luxurious outdoor sofas and fire pits. The perfect spot for a morning cuppa or a night cap around the fire.
This 3 Bedroom / 4 Bath converted horse stable and dairy barn has been transformed into a stunningly refined, rustic and modern space. The house is still connected to a working horse stable for a true farm stay experience.

360 views of vineyards and rolling hills surround the home. This backdrops provides the relaxation of being a million miles away, while downtown San Luis Obispo is just 10 minutes down the road. With many other desirable destinations in close range.

The 3 bedrooms are exquisitely furnished with the most luxurious and natural fabrics. Each room has its own tv, fireplace and bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms having direct access to a private deck overlooking lush land and animals that live on property.

The 4 bathrooms are all adorned with colorful imported Moroccan tiles and custom fixtures.

Just off the living, dinning and state of the art kitchen area is an open green grass patio. Equipped with BBQ, fire pit with Adirondack seating, outdoor dining area, Bocce Ball court, fruit trees and cafe lighting.

We had a fabulous time, and the property and surrounds are even more beautiful than the photos. Loved having adorable farm animals right outside our door and taking walks around the farm and surrounding vineyards. Everyone was warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to return!

Best vacation ever
The house afforded endless pleasure! There’s nothing like having breakfast on a deck with alpacas in view. Or being able to do a trail ride through vineyards with an ultra-friendly host. Or strolling around to chat with horses, a pig, and more creatures. Gorgeous house, beautiful property, and fantastic location. We discovered so much about the area and will definitely be back to MarFarm!

The perfect family getaway
We had an amazing time at MarFarm. The property and grounds totally exceeded our expectations. Staying on a working farm was a big hit with the kids (and the adults, too). The animals were up close and accessible but did not interfere at all with a restful nights sleep. The hosts and staff were very accommodating and helpful. This was the absolute perfect place for our family getaway to SLO. We’re looking forward to staying here again soon!

Picturesque setting and property
The location and setting are fabulous overlooking pastures of grazing horses, vineyards and purple mountains in the distance. The drive-up and curb appeal sets the stage with fabulous outdoor spaces including gorgeous gardens, landscaping and hardscape, multiple firepits, patios and areas to sit with coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. The inside took our breath away and we marveled at the architectural details, high end finishes, attention to detail & artistic accents that elevate this modern farmhouse experience....an amazing barn conversion in every way! All Bedroom suites were exquisite with lux bathrooms and fireplaces. The Kitchen and coffee station were perfect plus dining area and a cozy sitting area in front of an indoor fireplace. Stunning light fixtures plus western & horsey accents throughout. We loved and made friends with cute farm animals and horses right out our back door. Everyone on the property were great and we even had an aerobics exercise class available Thanksgiving morning! We are so appreciative of the vision the Marshall's had for their property and the fact that they are so willing to share it with those of us looking for a great experience vacation! Also, easy drive to SLO for dinners out and neighboring vinyards for tastings. Thank you again!

Weekend for family birthday
This was a beautiful space to celebrate our daughters milestone birthday and relax on this amazing property for the weekend. We cooked and enjoyed lots of meals together and the kitchen and property was beautiful and well stocked. We enjoyed the animals around the property, the fire pits, games, and views!

We loved staying here. The Property is amazing. We loved all the animals that were surrounding the rental. The colors were incredible (we went in Autumn/fall) and the reds, oranges and yellows rivaled the East Coast. Just stunning in every way.

Marfarm was a dream. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect, relaxing place for our group. We love the open space and taking walks around the ground. The kids love the animals and was extremely sad to leave. We had a great time and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
