There were a few restaurants within walking distance. The hotel had self parking but did charge a fee to use the parking lot. The room itself was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.

We had an excellent stay at the Simon Hotel in Sydney. The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy bed and everything we needed for a relaxing night. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with local recommendations or directions. The check-in and check-out process was quick and efficient, which we really appreciated. The hotel also has great amenities — the on-site restaurant served a delicious breakfast, and parking was convenient. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Sydney and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I believe this hotel was converted from an old building/hotel and it definitely shows. Rooms are spacious and staff are super friendly. Trio restaurant serves up delicious food. However upon check in, I asked for a bigger room but wasn't available on the first night. There was, however a bigger room the 2nd night - so I took the offer despite will be a higher price. It was worth the upgrade. View of the harbour was great. However for both rooms, the thermostats were malfunctioning. Despite setting at 60F, AC will not stay on. But I guess the hotel knows about it because in both rooms, fans were provided. I had to point both fans at the thermostats to blow warm air towards it. By doing that, I am guessing it brought the room down to ~74F...not cool enough for my family to sleep comfortably...
