Photos on the website are misleading. Property is in poor condition. The bed was good. Really disappointed with this choice. It should be a 2 star hotel, not 3.

Motel is located at private valley. The unit is roomy, with upper floor and 3 beds. Parking is convenient.

The staff member I dealt with was lovely. I think we stayed in the same room in 2020 (204). The bathroom desperately needed upgrading then and is worse now. It was cleaned as much as possible, but framing and the shower is bubbling and crumbling away. The soap dish was broken with the remnant left. In the kitchen, the scrubbing brush was filthy and old, with the dishwasher liquid so watered down as to be useless. The shabby chic look is because the place has been let go, rather than being an intentional design choice. It wouldn’t take much to lift the standard.

This was my second stay at Grandeur Thermal Spa Resort. My previous stay was about 14 months prior. The facilities were definitely not a five star stay then, but they have gone significantly downhill. The shower in our room had standing water as if it had not drained from the person who stayed there before. The corner that had the appliances smelled like something was burning and we could hear electrical crackling, so we opted to unplug all the appliances for the night for fear of an electrical fire. The smell of the room was also incredibly unpleasant. It smelled old and mildewy and was very off-putting. Staff interactions were average, and we were told a bit brusquely that the front desk attendant did not like to stay at the desk after 6:30 to wait for people to arrive.

Although the property looked a bit run down externally, the room we stayed in was clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Cooking facilities in the room were adequate for our needs. It was conveniently within walking distance of the spa park. The price was very affordable for travellers on a budget.

The property has potential, is not too far from Lake or other things to do.Has lots of space that can be improved. Just seems a bit neglected, but the room did what we needed,we spent a weekend and it was ok.

I like that we had adequate shelter and basic facilities but it's a motel, it is NOT a hotel! It should have at least a shared laundry room and either shared cooking facilities or a cooktop (plugin is fine). This place had a shared, unsheltered, barely clean BBQ outside! This was a cheap and nasty little establishment which boasted of a restaurant, hot pools, and used dodgy advertising pictures to make it look like a top notch establishment! BTW, it was only AFTER we had confirmed our booking that they said the restaurant and hot pools were not a going concern! I wouldn't recommend this place.

I stayed at this motel a few times and I really enjoy that the motel is at the end of the road so there is no traffic, no noise. The motel is fairly small so it's quiet and friendly.

Be aware that check in is not until 3pm. There is no staff ever in reception and you need to phone when arrived. We did not have phone access so this was a problem. Also be aware the rooms share a wall and the noise at night is terrible. There are no phones in the rooms so we were unable to phone anyone to advise of the party happening next door to us all night. Property is located out of town and not close to any restaurants etc which is also inconvenient.

Tĥere was no tv signal. I should have been told this when checking in. There was quite alot of dust around skirting boards. The air conditioning was old and very cold but necessary in the heat.

I found this property cheaper than the others in the area and I was looking for a short term stay so I chose this. It was in line with my expectations for the price offered. My only suggestion would be that the rooms (especially the linen) could be a little cleaner. Otherwise, I was reasonably satisfied.
