Hotels with Balconies in Watsons Bay

I have been a Marriott Bonvoy member for nearly 10 years, but I found a much better rate for this hotel through Hotels.com and ended up saving about $330 on my five-night stay. While I don’t typically book through third-party sites, I really wanted to stay at this property, and I’m glad I did. Despite booking through a third party, the check-in process was seamless. The hotel's location was the biggest draw for me. Tt’s right in the heart of downtown Sydney, with easy access to train and metro stations and within walking distance of Circular Quay, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The staff were outstanding throughout my stay. I also used the laundry service, and everything was returned promptly and exactly as expected. While the hotel is on the pricier side, the prime location, convenience, harbor view, and excellent service make it well worth the cost. I would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Sydney.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception area and adjoining bar/restaurant was dirty and tables were not bussed for a long amount of time. Floors in both areas were filthy and tables not cleared.

The Shangri‑La Sydney views were incredible, the rooms felt luxurious. The staff where lovely and would go over the top to accommodate anything which made the whole experience feel special. The kids were completely in their element, so much so that when it was time to pack up, they practically staged a protest because they didn’t want to leave. It was one of those trips where everyone, adults included, felt genuinely sad to say goodbye.
