The hotel was clean and modern. The hotel is nearby other hotels, restaurants, and shopping. The bed was also comfortable. Only dislike was the lack of parking - parking lot is small.

Room was nice for the cost, and parking was readily available. However, there was no front desk staff in the hotel so you have to go next door to talk to reception (weird). Also, the heater in the room did not work and the only ice machine we could find was broken. The doors into the hotel were not secured, even the second floor door, and with no hotel staff in the hotel that seemed potentially unsafe.

Hotel way overpriced for a one night stay! We paid 500 CAD for one night for a room which is worth $100 and not more. They say the hotel was renonvated in 2021 but the only parts of the hotel which look renovated are the carpet and the tiles in the bathroom. Everything else is old and outdated. The pillows were extremely old and not super comfortable. The hotel smells like spices and cigarettes. Needs a deep clean! Check in process was a mess because we had to walk to the Irwin hotel next door. Would not recommend this hotel to friends and fanily.
