We had an excellent experience. For an older hotel, the Banff Caribou is still in excellent condition . Rooms were clean, nice and very quiet. Staff were friendly and extremely welcoming and accommodating. The meals that we ate at the Keg restaurant were superb, from the breakfast buffet to our family Christmas dinner. Overall, A+ experience. We will stay there again.

The hotel was clean but dated. The front desk staff could use a little more customer service training as the girl we dealt with wasn’t very helpful or friendly. Overall though, good stay.

Excellent location! Close enough to walk downtown but far enough away from the noise when you’re looking for peace and quiet. Staff were pleasant, lobby was very homey with the fireplace. Rooms were a bit dated but comfortable. Great value for the money. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was not great - not a friendly nor welcoming experience checking in. Keys for 1 of the 2 rooms kept failing. Had to get them re-programmed 4 times! Reception had nothing to say about this, which leads me to believe it’s common. Was not a good time being locked out of our room after visiting the pool, being cold & wet and revisiting the lobby to have a problem that had already been corrected be corrected again. View was a parking lot of neighbouring property Clumps of hair in/on every drain in hot pool area - super gross!

Sad that they have taken away the coffee and tea in the lobby. Especially at Christmas. Was disappointed that the complimentary bus pass was not offered at check in. Room was good and beds very comfortable.

Hotel was very good and comfortable. Because it is a popular family hotel kids in hallways can be very loud. Guests should be reminded to keep the volume down when leaving/entering their rooms as a courtesy.
