Very comfortable, quiet room. Great restaurant and bar on site. Decor in room was old style. Hopefully they plan to eventually refurb the wood to a lighter colour and add some art work or interest to the dark walls. Everything clean except one teaspoon which must have been missed by the cleaners. Will definitely stay again.

If you have your own cr the parking is inadequate if you are out for the day and arrive back after 6 o'clock you will be unable to find a parking space. We had to get a park at 10 am and then leave our car there and use Uber cars for the 3 days of our stay. If you are taking your own car don't even think about staying at The Pavilion.

Facilities are good, rooms are quite spacious, my ground floor room did open onto the carpark. The in-house dining is wonderful. The plant-filled atrium is a real highlight. Light rail makes it very easy to get around. Service is welcoming and efficient.

Very scrappy entrance and needs updating. Staff brought us name brand alcoholic drinks without the bottles - I asked to see mine. They brought out the can and it was a Chinese cold drink. This seems like something shady going on

Pavilion was a last minute choice needed for a stopover. Chosen as the least expensive option. This hotel was adequate as a place to sleep the central internal courtyard is attractive especially under evening lights Restaurant and bar appeared inviting. However the building and room doors look like something from a prison scene. The room furniture is worn with worn and damaged paintwork. Not at attractive! Has an unsecured car park.

I felt we were paying for 3 stars but recieving 5. Great restaurant with magnificent ambiance. The room was excellant & although the bathroom could be due for a renovation it was very clean & great hot water pressure. I highly recommend the Pavilion on Northbourne.

The staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was absolutely fantastic, so comfortable and spacious. Dinner at the Atrium bar was delicious and really reasonably priced, and the buffet breakfast was amazing.
