Newly Renovated Cottage at La Casa Cottage Resort by Okanagan Lake

Take your family on a vacation to remember. La Casa Cottage Resort is 4-5 hours drive from Vancouver, 6-7 hours from Calgary, and 9-10 hours from Edmonton. This unique resort is a little Village community 30 minutes drive from West Kelowna or 40 minutes from Vernon, BC on the westside of Okanagan Lake. It's a gated community with about 425 cottages on Westside Road.

La Casa has tons to offer for families of all ages. Our 2 main floor bedrooms plus an upstairs loft bed (sleeps 8 people total) and 2 bathrooms cottage has all you need to create amazing memories. La Casa Cottage Resort and surrounding areas offer various activities for the couple or the whole family.

Year round enjoyment at the resort and surrounding areas. During the summer, you can enjoy the refreshing 2 outdoor swimming pools, 3 hot tubs and private beach area plus mini golf, volley-ball, pickle-ball and tennis courts and a well equipped kids play ground. Our cottage is a 2-minute walk to the main amenities park and restaurant with liquor store. There are over 20 wineries, as well as cheese factories, to visit and taste their products, spread out within 30-90 minutes driving from the cottage. Several secluded beachfront and shoreline areas for relaxing in the sun and swimming, personal watercraft launch ramp (boat, jet ski, kayak). Golf cart and kayak rentals available online from resort website. Extensive off-road and backcountry trails for ATV, dirt bike or downhill mountain biking. Local attractions include golfing at Predator Ridge, spa at Sparkling Hill Resort and world-class wineries including 50th Parallel, Mission Hill, Quail's Gate and dozens more.

If you are seeking a winter holiday, this cottage will be a great base to enjoy skiing at the Big White Ski Resort (1 hour 45 minutes), Silver Star Resort (1 hour 15 minutes) and Crystal Mountain in Westbank (1 hour), or nearby snowshoeing and skiing in the backcountry of Fintry Provincial Park. Full family enjoynent

The place has everything you need but if you ever miss anything, Ramon will come through for you within minutes of asking! He definitely deserve 6 stars for response time and willing to help! There is everything for 3 generations to have a blast! Will recommend for sure!

Great place for a family

We had a family of 7 staying here. When we entered, the place was clean and inviting. Great communication from Ramon through out our visit. Due to a wind storm we were without power for almost 24hours and Ramon did his best to keep us updated on the situation. I felt thankful there was a BBQ for food and hot water. All the activities of the resort are within walking distance, aside from the lake. We found the lake to be under welming as the beach is rocky and not very accesible for one of the elderly that was with us. The pools are a great alternative and found the upper one to be the least busy with some fun sprinklers for the kids. The drive to and from Kelowna is a bit long and at times nerve racking, but if you plan on staying on the resort it's perfect. Definitely a place i would stay again.

1st Vacationers of the Summer

Overall our stay was quite enjoyable. The location of the property to the amenities was excellent. Ramon, the property owner, was always available by phone if we needed to reach him; which we did in a couple of circumstances. The only recommendation we have for the property is to ensure that the cleaners have thoroughly cleaned the property prior to the next tenants arriving. Other than that, we would stay here again.

Great property and location!

This was our first time at La Casa and we will be back! La Casa is a very large property and this house is in a great location as it’s a short walk to the pool, mini-golf, tennis/pickle ball and the store. The property is very clean and well equipped and the communication from Ramon prior to and during our stay was excellent. We had 5 people (adults) staying at the house and there was plenty of room. You will need to drive down to the beach at La Casa however there’s plenty of parking. We also rented a boat and a jet ski from Okanagan Lake Boat Rentals (10 mins away) and highly recommend this rental company. The lake is not nearly as busy in this areas as it is in downtown Kelowna making the time on the water much more enjoyable! Recommend you bring beach towels / water toys/floats with you. Ramon was also so kind as to recommend buying groceries in Kelowna prior to driving to La Casa which was appreciated as the resort store has limited selection and is very expensive. Recommend you follow this advice. All in all a great property and Ramon is a fantastic host!!

Overall it was a great experience staying at La Casa, the rental property was in a great location in the property as it was a short walk to all the amenities, it was very clean, it could use some small repairs as the upstairs tv was not working and the sliding door lock did not lock. ( there was a stick you can place to secure it) other than small repairs it was a great place to stay, Ramon was a very good host and responded immediately with any questions.

Peaceful Family Rest & Relaxation!

Loved the cottage and the owner was awesome! Very clean and inviting property. All the convinces of home. 😀 The walk to the beach and back was a little trek, but great exercise. We opted not to get a golf cart to travel around. The weather was beautiful and we could not have asked for a better experience! Thanks for sharing your cottage with our family.
