The experience was overall great with a few caveats. I don’t believe that this is a 5 star resort based on a few customer service details that were simply lacking. As soon as we arrived at the resort after a very early and long flight the receptionist was very aggressively trying to persuade us to upgrade our stay by hundreds of dollars in order to access the adult TRS beach. We were flat out told we wouldn’t have access to the TRS adults only beach area and would have to use the family side. We were also told we had to decide right away and found out on our own that we did have access without paying extra!! We were also asked repeatedly where we’d like to eat but no menu or recommendations were given. We were aggressively advised to make reservations for all of the restaurants right away. Again we had no idea what restaurants were on site or what menus were available. when we arrived at every restaurant there were plenty of tables available and not a single restaurant was at capacity. We were contacted by the butler a week in advance of our trip for in-room requests which was a lovely addition, however the butler should have included menus to the restaurants as well as advised us about the strict reservation policy so that we could have provided him with our requests ahead of time. They also aggressively tried to sell us a timeshare and it was a very uncomfortable experience to decline the invitation as they were incredibly
