We would not recommend a stay at this hotel, we arrived at the airport and had no idea where to get a Pod from to transport us to the hotel, we asked several people for assistance only to be sent up and down in the lift and get nowhere, finally we arrived at the Thistle hotel only to find out that we had been charged £8.25 per person for this service, which had not been communicated to us prior to been transported in the Pod. The bed was uncomfortable, so overall this experience was stressful and not the way we would have wanted to start our holiday.

Loved our stay at Thistle!

Super convenient location if you have a flight from T5. The bus stop is on the road at the hotel. The bed was comfy. We had buffet breakfast nexr day that was wonderful and a great value.

The only thing that is so lovely here is the pods tgey provide to terminal 5.but it is si far from hotel especially when you have 6 baggage and there is nobody to help you.there is no lift in the hotel and if you have baggages it is almost impossible for you to take baggages to upstairs. The hotel rooms are so far and nobody helps you to take your baggages to room.the towel they put for the floor was almost yellow, it seems unwashed. There is just one towel for both of us. There is no plug beside the bed.bath tub curtain was inside the tub and sticks to body while showering.no safe in the room.no air dryer in the room. Hospitality is zero.the room looks nice.

The hotel is well placed for access to Heathrow Airport terminal five with a good connection through the pod system. It is a convenient airport amenity hotel. However, the shower would not turn off so the water was consistently dribbling and when turned on would only run hot for 10 to 15 seconds before returning to the triple. I made a complaint at reception, and whilst the agent was polite, there was no apology. Nearly a I will pass a message on to maintenance. I asked for the details of the manager to send details and videos of the problem which were passed to me but again no apology or offered to follow up.
