Beautiful room, spacious and clean. Fireplace was a nice touch. Bathroom clean and good shower pressure. Nice toiletries. Wish they had liquid body wash in addition to bar soap (but that’s a personal preference). Great central location. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices and is delivered to the room. Nice pastries, fresh cut fruit was perfect. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel, now our Monterey favorite!

Wonderful hotel and views!

Wonderful hotel! We've stayed many times and it never disappoints. It is pricey, but worth it, especially the ocean front rooms!

Menu was small and limited for breakfast. Fireplace was nice along with staff. Room was somewhat clean. Chairs arm rests were filthy dirty. Bed was like a rock. View from the window was great except the neighbors room could look into your window if you were =on the nook.

Room location extremely noisy. Bar across the street played loud music until 2am. Staff was unresponsive to my notification. Our room was not nothing like the photo on the website. It was small and unimpressive, not worth the cost at all. Very disappointing!!!

Beware! This Hotel has no Air Conditioning and there is a bar directly across the street blaring loud music with a line of loud drunk people waiting to get in. This was really bad our first night which was warm so that we had to have windows open or be very hot. Our second night was cooler so that we could close the windows which shut out the noise fairly well. Also, the bar was less packed and loud the second night.

We had a great stay at the Spindrift The hotel had a boutique feel and made the guests feel welcome, with lots of personal attention. All of the staff was very accommodating. Rooms were quaint & clean & adorable. The in room breakfast was so convenient & just enough to get you out the door while getting ready. The wine & charcuterie in the late afternoon was a nice treat & high quality. Would definitely stay there again & would recommend to others.

Other hotels have been asking us if we want service, this hotel took care of the room everyday, clean, organized and anytime we wanted extra towels or anything we got them. Everyone was kind and professional and very helpful, from the Valets to the Front desk.

Very Cozy Hotel

Stayed there while attending Monterey Jazz Festival. Very nice location. Parking could be better. I decided to valet park. Beautiful ocean views. My wife really liked it. That's all that mattered!

This property was in a great location. The cleaning staff were awesome, everything spotless. The Inn staff were friendly and very helpful in recommendations when asked. I loved the complimentary breakfast service (even though it was a little redundant( the change in fresh fruit and pastries were nice, though, and everything was good). The restaurant they contracted with next door that provided the breakfast service (as they have no kitchen)is excellent for lunch and dinner. Although there were numerous places to eat in the area.I liked choosing my own time for breakfast and they were always punctual. I loved the complimentary wine, cheese/crax, with nuts and dried fruit at 4:30 daily. We tended to really look forward to it. I honestly can't say there was anything I would complain about however parking would have been nice. They only had valet for a price of course, but it was fairly reasonable and convenient. I highly recommend The Spindrift Inn.

This was an anniversary trip. Beautiful hotel on the beach, ocean view room, windows you could open to listen to the waves, and a fireplace in the room. Service was very good. Recommendations for dinner was a small local place that was very good. The staff were very friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to return.
