Perfect location for Enmore theatre (3 minute walk away), close to cafes, train station and Aldi. we requested an early check in and they were able to accommodate this request. Very happy to answer any of my questions I had in the lead up to coming. Would definitely stay here again

The room was clean and tidy but the soundproofing isn’t very good. I could hear a lot from the rooms next door and through the corridor. I wouldn’t choose to stay again.

It’s ok but it feels like a hostel. It’s noisy too tbh.. there are communal areas outside the rooms and people were sat on their phones having full volume speakerphone conversations. It’s also right under the flight path for planes near the airport and the walls are thin. It’s a great location hence the appeal but if you want a comfortable long term stay maybe head further in or out of town. The air con is very good.

We had a nice, comfortable one-night stay at The Urban Newtown, perfectly located in the heart of Newtown. It’s just a 30-minute train ride to Circular Quay and all the main Sydney sights, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. I’d recommend booking a car parking spot with the hotel in advance, it’s a shame this has to be arranged and paid for separately, but understandable given how busy the area is. The welcome drink and snacks were a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome.
